An aircraft passenger travelling from Chicago to Los Angeles claimed to have observed a disc-shaped object that travelled close to the plane, according to the testimony in the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database under Case 60579.
The object was first spotted when the plane was about to land into Los Angeles around 5:30 in the afternoon on October 7, 2014.
From the back of the plane looking out the window, the witness said that a silver sphere came to his view as they descended.
The witness estimated the UFO to be around three feet past the wing and approximately three feet below the wing. Since it was still daylight at 5:30 p.m., the mysterious object still reflected the sunlight.
The witness saw the object coming and watched it as they passed it. In his best guess, the object was about four feet around. He is very sure that what he observed was not a balloon.
He felt scared after witnessing it because it was very near to the wing. The witness was very aware of the possibility that their plane might get crash if they had hit it.
MUFON California is currently investigating the report.
